i was putting winter clothes away into the guest room closet & noticed this shadow on the wall, so i ran and grabbed my camera. after a few shots, i cropped it to my liking & got this.
what i didn't notice until i was editing was the tiny shadows that my fledgling succulents gave on the pot that the bigger plant was in! i gave a little squeal, they're so cute - see?!
what shadowy treasures are other people discovering this week? go visit hey harriet and find out! no, really, go. GO NOW!!

What cute shadows your plants are throwing around. I love that color of red you have going on in the background - a perfect foil for the terra cotta pots.
When you keep alert, shadow pop up in the strangest (and most ordinary) places!
I ONCE HAD A SHADOW
I once had a shadow—or did she have me?
My shadow and I could never agree.
I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
Refusing to speak to her anymore—
So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
I have not seen her from that day to this—
That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!

Shadows here and here
Lovely shadow shot photos ... they seem to turn up where we least expect them, don't they?
That's lovely. Love the colors too! Well done!
Beautiful shadow patterns!
Late visiting for SSS, here's some more shadow shots, have a great week ahead.
They are cute and I would have squealed with delight too! The vibrant red and green combo is fab! I'm envious of you putting your winter clothes away as I'm currently pulling more and more of mine out of the closet! Enjoy your summery week ahead Amanda :)
Lovely patterns here.
It's like they're sibling shadows.
thanks for the lovely comments, everyone! <3
